As most of Year 6 are now back in school, Mrs Hopkinson is going to run a Zoom on Friday this week to give all the Year 5 children and the Year 6 children at home, chance to see each other and catch up. This will be at 9:30am. A text will be sent with the meeting code and password on.

Project 4: Superheroes

 

Thank you for your hard work on the colour theme last week. 

 

This week, our new project is 'Superheroes'. Everything you need, including the activities and resources can be found in the Home Learning folder on the main class pages. There's some fun and interesting ideas to have a go at!

 

I hope you enjoy this one as much as the previous ones! If you still want to keep working with your English and Maths, along with the other subjects, I have set some more work on the online platforms - see below.

Project 3: Colour

 

I really enjoyed our Pirates Zoom last week and was impressed with the work that you have produced.

 

This week, our new project is 'Colour'. Everything you need, including the activities and resources can be found in the Home Learning folder on the main class pages. There's some fun and interesting ideas to have a go at!

 

I am looking forward to seeing what you get up to this week. I hope you enjoy it all! If you still want to keep working with your English and Maths, along with the other subjects, I have set some more work on the online platforms - see below.

Our class Zoom to catch up and share the work we have been doing on the Sunflower Project will be on Friday 19th June at 9:15am. The meeting code and password has been sent to you in a text. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow and the work you have done!

 

During this uncertain time for everyone across the world, keeping safe is the most important thing. As you will no doubt be spending many hours at home, it's an opportunity to do all the things together that you may not always have the time for. Please enjoy the extra time you will get to spend together and I am looking forward to hearing what you have all been getting up to soon. I am also missing you all and am looking forward to us hopefully being back together as a class in the near future.

Hope you are all doing well at home and keeping busy. Thank you for the work you have completed so far and it's great to see what you have been doing at home. This week sees the launch of new project based learning - all about sunflowers this week - which you will be able to work on throughout the week. If you are still keen to work on English and Maths activities, more have been set on the online learning platforms. You can choose which interest you most and have a go at them! Hope you enjoy these activities and I am looking forward to seeing what you do!

It was so great to see so many of your faces on Zoom on Friday. I enjoyed catching up with you and seeing what you have all been up to.

 

I have allocated you some new books on Bug Club, set new questions on Prodigy, there are games on times tables rockstars and I have assigned you some new 2Dos on Purple Mash. You can also keep working on the tasks and activities on Ancient Egypt.

5/6 Catch-up on Zoom
