Remote Learning Weekly Plan - Spring 2021

Each class has their own remote learning plan to carry out when children are isolating at home or for school closures but here are a list of links to others resources that parents and carers may wish to use.

Online reading books


Bug club - large selection of books that will be updated regularly. 

Audible - free streaming of a wide range of stories. Can stream on a range of devices.


The World Of David Walliams - listen to extracts read by the man himself - 11 am daily.


Oliver Jeffers - videos of Oliver reading his books and showing how he made them


Oxford Owl - a variety of reading activities available.





Phonics Play - whilst schools are closed, phonics play is offering their resources for free. Enter the code on the homepage and access games and activities linked to your child's phonic phase.


DfE Letters and Sounds - lessons on youtube linked to the letters and sounds programme, with daily lessons uploaded at 9am.




Times tables rockstars - develop speed and knowledge of times tables. Y1/2 upwards.


Prodigy - a range of games and maths skills to practise. Log ins are in the packs sent home before closing if appropriate for your child's class.


Numbots - Children in KS1 have access to this app designed to develop addition and subtraction skills in line with the curriculum. Log in details have been sent home with your child.


The Maths Factor - Carol Vorderman's maths page - free to use.

Out of the Ark- songs to share at home, many of which the children are familiar with




PE with Joe - Joe Wicks the body coach has a huge bank of exercise videos for all ages, with a new lesson released every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9am


Cosmic Kids Yoga - fun youtube channel with a variety of yoga exercises.
